Keeping your scalp clean is a must when your hair is in braids. With box braids, everyone will be able to see your scalp. Prevent buildup and oil on your head with a scalp by cleansing your scalp with witch hazel. Making a spray at home is easy with witch hazel, tree oil, lavender oil, and distilled water.
If you find that your scalp feels right and sore after getting your hair braided, there are ways you can relax your edges to relieve the tension on your scalp. This happens when braiders pull hair too tight. If your scalp is too tense and sore after your Muncie Box Braiding appointment, you can relax the edges of your braids with a little coconut oil.
